SeaDarQ becomes a member of International Spill Control Organization
Increasing the awareness of effective oil spill monitoring and response is one of the main objectives of SeaDarQ. In connection with this effort, the company decided to become a member of ISCO (International Spill Control Organization).
Mar-Limpo 2, first OSRV constructed in Brazil is fitted with SeaDarQ oil spill detection system
Mar-Limpo 2 was built in Brazil's Sao Miguel shipyard in partnership with UK power systems provider Rolls-Royce. The vessel is designed to combat oil spills at sea and is contracted by Petrobras for the coming 8 years. The Mar-Limpo 2 is the first of the series of modern OSRVs built in Brazil with an investment of approximately R $ 71 million and over 70% of local content.

Sunic-Ocean takes part in a global Oil Response Initiative
SeaDarQ representative in China - Sunic-Ocean - participated in a Oil Spill Emergency Workshop in Qingdao. Organized by Chinese MSA, the initiative aims to enhance a cooperation between IMO, IPIECA and MSA on preparedness and response to oil spills, and to promote China’s capability-building against marine oil spills. Li Guobin, who is a member of ISCO Executive Committee and the SeaDarQ agent presented the most recent development in the field of oil spill response equipment.
