Freda joins NortekUSA with a background in Coastal Engineering. Immediately prior to joining NortekUSA, Freda was a coastal engineer with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, having worked on several large scale projects in beach nourishment, coastal structures, and navigation.

Her experience includes numerical modeling, shoreline and volumetric analyses, monitoring and design. Along with her background in coastal processes, Freda has also maintained an interest in physical oceanography, ocean observation systems, and ocean-atmospheric interaction.
