User seminar in Hangzhou

The idea of a Chinese user seminar first materialized in 2007, when it was held in Qingdao.  Last year, most of the speakers came from Nortek's office in Norway and the focus was on technical aspects of the instrumentation.  This year, two of the presenters were Chinese researchers with broad experience with the use of Nortek instruments.  This added a new and interesing dimension to the seminar and we would like to build on this also in the future as the seminar travels south toward the Guangzhou region in 2010.

 Of course the seminar was not all work, but also some fun.  Besides great dinners, we all had a chance to take a boat ride on the famous West Lake in Hangzhou.  Saturday, many of the participants also joined the staff at Nortek's Qingdao office on a pre-arranged tour to Qiandao Lake ("Lake of thousand islands")
