Transducer Uplift: Nortek Piezo Joins the Nortek Family

We are pleased to announce that Nortek has bought the assets of PCT Ltd., an advanced transducer technology company in Aberdeen, Scotland. The company staff, which are experts in the design and production of piezo composite transducers, have a long history of providing excellent quality broadband transducers to the sonar industry. They also participate in externally funded transducer research projects in collaboration with industry and universities alike. The company, renamed Nortek Piezo, will continue to provide transducers to existing and new customers in the industry. We also look forward to working with them to develop and refine Nortek transducers in order to improve the performance of our current meters and current profilers.
