Checksum Error

Hello,

I used a Vectrino velocimeter about 6 months ago with no problems. I am now trying to use the same velocimeter, with the same firmware (v1.27),  with the same laptop, running the same Vectrino software (v1.08). After a few seconds of data gathering a checksum error is reported and the software crashes.

We have a second probe (firmware v1.29) and a second laptop (running Vectrino Plus v1.12) and are seeing exactly the same problem with all velocimeter/laptop combinations. The velocimeter is being used in an experimental channel in a laboratory, as 6 months ago.

I've looked through the manual and can't find any information which seems relevant. Running a probe check also gives a checksum error.

Do you have any suggestions?
