Aquadopp memory retention time on sleep

Hi

We have a Nortek Aquadopp ADCP deployed however weather has prevented recovery on several occasions. We have had it recording for a 30 day period and then it should hopefully have entered sleep mode. 

Does anyone know how long it can retain its memory for? I assume the flash memory requires power to retain the recorded data. It has been two months since it has stopped recording,

Hi Jason,

The flash memory is non-volatile so it should be fine. There are various stories of flooded and otherwise damaged instruments we were still able to recover data from, even one involving soldering the memory into a new board.
