high res ADP
When converting raw high-res ADP files to ASCII, I know I need to use hr2ndp, followed by getadp (-vel, -amp, etc). When do I need to use hrsync before using hr2ndp? When I do use it, all it seems to do is cut off the last few profiles of a given set. Am I supposed to use hrsync at all?
Hi
There are two "sync" programs , one for the standard NDP called ndpsync.exe and one for the high-res version called hrsync.exe. These programs were developed when we had problems with corrupted data recorders and we needed to clean up the files before we could convert the data to ASCII or import the file into ExploreP. You don't need you use them at all if the data file is not giving you any problems.

PS The two ensembles that are lost (one at the start and one at the end) is due to a little bit of lazy programming..
