International seminar and course on oceanographic technologies related to the new Standard in the Chilean Aquaculture.

Nortek will play an important role as speaker on the International Seminar of underwater technologies given by Mariscope Ingeniería in Puerto Montt Chile. In addition Nortek will give a certification course in “Operation of Acoustic Current Meters”

The International seminar and course on oceanographic technologies related to the new Standard (Regulations) in the Chilean Aquaculture, organized by Mariscope Ingeniería will focused on some of the main oceanographic equipment in the world.
The participants are: Nortek from Norway; Sea and Sun from Germany; Nautilus Oceánica from Spain, Axys Technologies from Canada, Mariscope Meerestechnik from Germany, Mariscope Argentina y Mariscope Ingeniería from Chile.

This double event is a great opportunity for environmental service enterprises, aquaculture and offshore companies, specialists of this area and for everyone that is interested in this kind of technologies. Nowadays the oceanographic measurement technologies are required by the government of Chile and they are essential for environmental monitoring activities of aquaculture enterprises.

After the seminar, Mariscope Ingeniería in association with NORTEK AS, has prepared a two day - course about measuring systems and installation of NORTEK acoustic current meters. At the end of the course the participants will obtain the certificated degree of “Basic technical operator of Nortek´s measuring systems and installation of acoustic current meters”
