Eric has always been passionate about oceanography, ocean instrumentation and the sea.
He has a background in research and operational physical oceanography, having worked in
university and government environments on both the East and West coasts.
Eric has experience managing large field programs and analyzing current velocity, CTD and other hydrographic data sets.
Eric joined NortekUSA shortly after he and his wife returned from a sabbatical completing their long dreamed-of adventure:
sailing their small boat from Seattle, through Mexico and the tropical Pacific islands, to New Zealand.
